Jane Iredale - Dream tint

As you recently found out about, until a few weeks ago I was a foundation virgin (find out here).
You must have been thinking: what on earth did she use? Well if i'm honest most of the time pretty much nothing, but occasionally I used the Dream Tint moisturizer in medium/light from Jane Iredale.

Dream tint is Jane Iredale's tinted moisturizer with SPF15 (always a plus when there's an SPF in it!) As for coverage: pretty much nothing. But it leaves your skin with a healthy glow (not greasy), smoother and more even-toned! You can apply it by using your fingers, but I like to use my Sigma F80 Kabuki brush for it. Gives it a more "airbrushed" effect. I wear it without any powder on top, but if you have an oily skin you can always use some setting powder. If you want to stay in the Jane Iredale assortiment I would reccomend the loose powder or if you want more coverage the pressed powder.

Interested in the consitency of this moisturizer? The ingredients:

Active Ingredient: Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891) 4.5% Ingredients: Aqua/Water/Eau, Algae Extract, Sambucus Nigra (Elder Flower) Extract, Dimethicone, Jojoba Esters, Octyldodecyl, Neopentanoate, Glyceryl Stearate, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Glycerin, Raphanus Sativus (Radish) Root Extract, Boron Nitride, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Camellia Sinensis (White Tea) Leaf Extract, Citrus Grandis (Grapefruit) Seed Extract, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Punica Granatum (Pomegranate) Extract, Glyceryl Polymethacrylate, May Contain: Iron Oxides (CI 77489, CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), Mica (CI 77019), Ultramarines (CI 77007), Chromium Oxide Greens (CI 77288)

As you can see, there are quite a few ingredients. The sunscreen is titanium dioxide which is great for those with sensitive skin (and don’t want chemical sunscreens). And then there is the Shea butter, seed oil, Jojoba,... for the moisturizing part. The silicones in it make sure that the pores and the fine lines will be filled.

Final verdict?

It provides light coverage and is good for the skin. It’s sheer coverage can be used solely or underneath foundations. And of course, the SPF is always a plus!

Will you be trying this tinted moisturizer?
